NIMC National ID Card is Out, Check If Your ID is Ready, Sept 2011 – May 2017 Enrollment

           

The National Identification Management Commission (NIMC), has recently released the National ID Card of September 2011 – May 2017, you can check if your ID is ready online by following the simple steps below:

2. Click the proceed button
3. Fill in your First Name, Last Name and the Last 6-digits of your National Identification Number (NIN)
4. :Click the ‘ application button below’.

Also as explained by the NIMC’s Director of Technical Services, the new e-ID card can also serve as a cash card. So the card holder can withdraw money in any place. Moreover, especially within the West African sub-region, it soon would become possible to travel with this card only, passport-free.

New: The e-Identification (eID) Card can also be used as an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) Card in any Automated Teller Machine (ATM) around the world.
